This original acrylic painting on canvas by Faith Lund was inspired by a trip I took to Paris and witnessed Monet's exhibit at L'Orangerie.  This piece reflects the layering of brushwork capturing the ever changing light which was a focus of the Impressionists.  As color moves in and out and texture constantly changes one witnesses a moment in time, part of an impression and memory of not only Monet but his gardens at Giverney.
