Saturated intensity of color is increased through the many layers of pigment.  Reaction of form and shapes, one to the other, is a subtle transition.  Tension is created as one moves upward visually.  A certain electricity is realized with the friction of metallic resting on the uppermost surface.  The stretched edges of the canvas melt coloristically as the containment of the edge fades.  At this point forms seem to fade in obscurity.
