This original painting by Faith Lund incorporates many acrylic washes topped with impasto acrylic brush work.  The action of the sea comes to us from the distant view of sky merging with water.  Rolling, boiling, movement is shown through contract of rich color tones.  It finally settles to the shore as we see a contrast of pebbles and rocks in near view.
