This painting with it's horizontality gives an abstracted illusion of estuary.  The sky striations bleed into one another giving the sense of drifting variations.  One gets the feeling of never ending movement with various forms weaving in and out of vision.  The sense of dimension plays tricks on the eye.  One floats from sea to sky in the midst of constant drama.
