This painting is all about the ocean and its temperament.  It was a bright  sunny day but the water seemingly contained was beyond turbulent.  It was rolling and boiling trying to escape its parameters.  It was contained but without that appearance.  The painting exhibits a lot of depth both visually and physically.  It’s as if the ocean is jumping toward the sky when one examines the horizon line.  All of this action is captured on canvas and comes alive with all of the rich vibrancy of blue.
